Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite in our modern outpatient office located in Jacksonville, Florida. The full-time schedule spans 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, allowing you to maintain a work-life balance while dedicating time to your patients. As part of a collaborative healthcare team, you will work closely with colleagues, sharing insights and engaging in best-practice discussions with the goal of maximizing patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that align with physician directives, ensuring continuous monitoring and adjustment as required.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and evidence-based techniques to facilitate healing and restore function.
• Interact and educate patients and their caregivers on treatment options, exercises, and post-care strategies to support ongoing health and wellness.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely, contributing to our comprehensive record-keeping practices.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience and overall treatment outcomes.
• Meet and strive to exceed established utilization goals and business objectives for the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will primarily consist of orthopedic patients, but you will also have the opportunity to work with pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine populations. This diverse experience will enable you to adopt a holistic approach to treatment, addressing each patient's unique needs and aspirations. By forging strong therapeutic relationships, you will empower patients to reach and exceed their functional goals in a compassionate and engaging manner.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates are required to have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy for Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in technological tools and software to maintain patient records and documentation.
• A commitment to fostering strong relationships with patients and contributing positively to the community.

Preferred Experience

Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is highly desirable, with a preference for candidates who possess specialized training or certifications in manual therapy or similar disciplines. Compensation and Benefits
