Work Environment

You will work onsite in a collaborative team setting comprising two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our rehabilitation environment is focused on patient-centered care, encouraging teamwork and effective communication among all professionals involved in patient recovery. The typical work schedule for this full-time role is Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured yet rewarding work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and establish individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting healing and functional mobility.
• Engage with 2 to 3 patients per hour, facilitating focused and high-quality sessions tailored to each individual's goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to enhance range of motion, strength, and overall wellness.
• Guide patients through innovative rehabilitation exercises designed to reduce reliance on prescription medications and explore non-surgical options.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other medical specialists to ensure an integrated approach to patient health.
• Inspire and motivate patients by demonstrating and fostering a proactive approach to their rehabilitation journey.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously, ensuring all records reflect the quality of care provided.
• Analyze and adjust care plans as necessary, based on patient feedback and clinical observations, ensuring continual improvement and efficacy in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient base includes athletes, individuals recovering from surgeries, and patients with chronic pain or mobility issues. The Physical Therapist will work closely with these populations, tailoring treatments to their unique needs, which often require a dynamic and adaptable approach to therapy.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with an active state licensure and no board or disciplinary action against your professional record.
• Must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Strong manual therapy skills that enhance the therapeutic experience for patients.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically platforms like WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is valued, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services.
