Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients referred by physicians, designing and implementing tailored treatment programs based on individual needs.
• Use advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities to support rehabilitation, employing both manual therapy and exercise science in treatment plans.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring that treatment plans are adaptable and aligned with the physician's directives, to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including athletic trainers, occupational therapists, and medical doctors, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing education and home exercise programs to encourage active participation in their recovery journey.
• Maintain high standards of customer service through effective communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring an enriching experience for patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those dealing with orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, pediatric cases, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer applications relevant to patient management.
• Ability to develop strong rapport with patients, enhancing their recovery experience.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of direct experience in physical therapy settings.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is highly preferred.
• Specific experience with outpatient rehabilitation, particularly in treating sports medicine, orthopedics, and pediatric populations.
• Current CPR certification is a requisite.

Compensation and Benefits
