Key Responsibilities

• Manage and direct individualized physical therapy treatment plans that aim to prevent disability, alleviate pain, and maximize each client's functional abilities in accordance with their treatment goals.
• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring the effective implementation of care plans and adherence to best practices.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities utilizing diagnostic and assessment tools to determine their rehabilitation needs.
• Assess home environments and provide recommendations for modifications that facilitate independence and safety for clients.
• Deliver prescribed physical therapy services in clients' homes, focusing on manual therapeutic exercises, administering traction and massages, and applying physical agents as required.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians on necessary modifications.
• Participate actively in care plan development, updates, and interdisciplinary team meetings to foster a comprehensive approach to patient treatment.
• Document clinical findings, prepare care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries ensuring meticulous record-keeping in compliance with organizational standards.
• Educate clients and their families on care requirements, the use of physical therapy devices, and overall wellness strategies.
• Be readily available to provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants and ensure adherence to state regulations through direct supervision.
• Complete additional duties as assigned to fulfill the company's goals and enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population spans across various age groups and therapeutic needs, including patients recovering from surgery, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and those requiring rehabilitation following illness or accident. Each client receives a customized treatment approach to help them achieve their specific recovery goals, ensuring personalized attention and effective support throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A proven track record of excellence in patient care with no history of license sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong mastery of multiple manual therapy techniques and a high level of proficiency in designing effective exercise programs.
• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation practices.
• Current knowledge of best practices and trends in physical therapy supported by research outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a rehabilitation clinic or home health settings.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Experience with specific patient populations, such as geriatrics or neurology, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, generous paid time off, and company-paid life insurance.
