Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories and performing essential physical assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, ensuring they are active participants in goal setting and recovery.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols effectively, adapting methodologies as needed based on patient progress and the dynamic healthcare landscape.
• Engage in interdisciplinary consultations, documenting all changes in patients' conditions and adjusting care plans in accordance with collaborative feedback.
• Lead discharge planning processes, ensuring that follow-up care is clearly communicated and documented, including comprehensive notes on initial evaluations and ongoing patient progress.
• Utilize your time management skills to meet productivity targets, maintain accurate scheduling, and participate proactively in team meetings and hospital/community marketing efforts.
• Contribute to departmental goals and compliance with all governmental and accreditation regulations, playing an active role in initiatives that enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must possess a valid DPT license in the state of Florida.
• Current American Heart Association BLS CPR certification is essential.
