Premier Health and Wellness Center is actively seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join our rehabilitation facility in Jacksonville, Florida. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Premier Health and Wellness Center, you will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. Our team-oriented atmosphere encourages collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to provide integrated patient care. The center features modern equipment and technology designed to enhance rehabilitation outcomes, ensuring that you have the resources necessary to implement effective treatment plans. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility to address patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions to develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans targeting specific goals.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to improve patients' mobility and functionality.
• Educate patients and their families about body mechanics and various exercises to encourage active participation in recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on individual responses and therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment efficacy.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure that necessary supplies and equipment are properly maintained and readily available.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients, cultivating a positive atmosphere that motivates them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Adhere strictly to ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and respect for their rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals across various demographics and medical backgrounds, including children requiring pediatric rehabilitation, elderly patients undergoing geriatric care, and athletes in need of sports rehabilitation. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized areas such as neurological or pediatric rehabilitation may be given preference. Previous work in a rehabilitation facility is advantageous, as it provides insight into the fast-paced nature of our practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
