Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Vital Stride, you will:

• Evaluate and assess patients' conditions to establish individualized treatment plans aimed at maximizing their capabilities and recovery outcomes.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and the use of state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, to reduce pain and enhance patients' mobility.
• Document and track patients' progress meticulously, providing regular updates on their responses to treatment and adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving health goals.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation protocols and proper use of assistive devices to promote independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in physical therapy practices through ongoing professional development and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from children to senior adults facing a wide spectrum of orthopedic issues, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, sports injuries, and more. Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability in documentation and patient education.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including word processing and electronic health records.
• A flexible and adaptable approach, capable of managing diverse patients and treatment scenarios.

Preferred Experience
