Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist for Outpatient Orthopedic Practice

Our clinic is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and features dedicated therapy spaces that cover approximately 5,000 square feet. Work Environment

You will work in an onsite setting within a modern outpatient office, collaborating closely with a small team that includes two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The clinic operates from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible work-life balance while you dedicate your expertise to enhancing patients' recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and fulfill the specific goals and needs of each patient.
• Manage a patient load that allows for effective interaction, typically one patient per hour, ensuring quality and focus during treatment sessions.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop customized and effective treatment plans.
• Implement cost-effective treatment strategies that prioritize improving patients' motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications and exploring non-surgical alternatives.
• Create and customize fitness and wellness programs based on individual requirements, following the latest evidence-based protocols.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment to optimize their physical functioning and engagements in daily activities.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor progress, and maintain open communication channels with patients and team members.
• Document all services provided meticulously to maintain comprehensive patient records and facilitate ongoing care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients with orthopedic needs, ranging from sports injuries to post-surgical rehabilitation. You'll work with diverse clientele including adults engaged in athletic pursuits, individuals recovering from surgery, and seniors looking to enhance their mobility and quality of life. Your role will significantly impact their recovery process, helping them regain strength, coordination, and confidence.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrable skills in manual therapy techniques and the design of tailored exercise programs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to efficiently manage patient documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy is strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a collaborative healthcare environment, with a focus on evidence-based practice, is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
