Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Jacksonville facility, you will work in a modern, well-equipped setting designed to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services. The clinic operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. Our patient load typically features 5-7 patients per day, providing you the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships and tailor your approach to each individual's specific rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients, utilizing standardized evaluation methods to develop individualized treatment plans that address specific goals and needs.
• Administer evidence-based physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities designed to reduce pain and optimize recovery.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment adjustments in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about injury prevention techniques, post-treatment care, and wellness strategies aimed at promoting lifelong health and functionality.
• Collaborate closely with orthopedic specialists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize each patient's care plan, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Remain current with ongoing advancements in physical therapy and rehabilitation methods to continually enhance the quality of care provided at our facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient care will span a wide array of orthopedic diagnoses, making you essential in helping individuals recover from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic conditions affecting movement and quality of life. You will work with a varied demographic, allowing for a rich tapestry of clinical experience that enhances both your skills and patient interactions.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred; however, new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in therapeutic techniques, manual therapy, and functional movement assessments.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills to ensure the best outcomes for each patient.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with rehabilitation for sports-related injuries and post-operative recovery.
• Familiarity with digital documentation and electronic health record systems to streamline patient management.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques are viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

We are committed to offering a competitive compensation package ranging between $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and performance.
