Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be tasked with delivering comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Key responsibilities include:

• Directing and implementing individualized physical therapy treatment programs aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and promoting optimal muscle function.
• Conducting thorough assessments of the patient's physical capabilities using diagnostic tests and observations, leading to actionable insights that guide treatment plans.
• Evaluating the patient's home and work environments, advising on modifications to enhance independence and facilitate ongoing rehabilitation.
• Managing treatment sessions that include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the use of specialized equipment, ensuring optimal patient engagement and outcomes.
• Overseeing Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the appropriate delivery of care and provide guidance on treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.

• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
