Work Environment

As a member of our on-site rehabilitation team, you will work within a modern and well-equipped facility designed to foster recovery and mobility. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate the functional, therapeutic, and rehabilitative needs of individuals.
• Collaborate with physicians and the patient care team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize patient engagement and goal achievement.
• Deliver treatments through a variety of therapeutic techniques, actively assessing and modifying interventions to meet patient needs and progress.
• Provide education to patients and their families, utilizing evidence-based resources to instruct on therapeutic exercises, adaptive devices, and home care requirements.
• Manage a designated caseload, prioritizing patient care and determining daily staffing requirements to ensure quality outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including adults and children undergoing orthopedic surgeries and rehabilitation for sports injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain management. Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing patients' quality of life, enabling them to achieve their functional goals and return to their daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree will be prioritized.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in Florida.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care are essential.

Preferred Experience

• While no prior experience is required, candidates with internships or clinical rotations focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation will be highly regarded.
