Work Environment

This role will be performed onsite in our dedicated home care facility, known for its collaborative culture and state-of-the-art equipment. You will join a dynamic team comprising experienced physical therapists and supportive staff, all passionate about providing high-quality care. The facility is designed to accommodate a range of therapy modalities, ensuring that you have access to everything you need to deliver effective treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' individual conditions and set goals that align with their rehabilitation needs.
• Administer treatments and therapies for 2 to 3 patients per hour, emphasizing orthopedic outpatient care.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans that reflect the best evidence-based practices.
• Utilize a combination of therapeutic modalities and manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility.
• Engage creatively with patients to design fitness and wellness regimens tailored to their goals.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adapting care plans as necessary based on their responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to create a comprehensive treatment approach for patients.
• Encourage patients to reduce dependency on prescription medications by exploring non-surgical solutions.
• Utilize EMR software like WebPT to maintain accurate and timely records of patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will primarily be on patients recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical conditions, and chronic pain. As a team member, you'll have the opportunity to empower athletes and active individuals, helping them regain their strength and functional mobility. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in guiding clients toward a healthier lifestyle through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state Physical Therapist License with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficient manual therapy skills and a comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation techniques.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is highly preferred.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience in the field, specifically in orthopedic outpatient care. Familiarity with sports medicine practices and a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
