Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or managing orthopedic conditions.
• Developing personalized treatment plans utilizing a combination of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimes, stretching maneuvers, manual therapy, and advanced modalities.
• Implementing treatment programs that address pain management and enhance mobility, focusing on restoring function and independence.
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting all treatments, responses, and outcomes through our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on continuous evaluations to meet evolving patient needs.
• Educating patients and their families about treatment objectives, at-home exercises, and the use of assistive devices to foster self-care.
• Providing mentorship and support to new graduates who join our practice, ensuring they integrate smoothly into our clinical environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from children to adults, all facing various musculoskeletal challenges. Your focus will be mainly on orthopedic cases, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, arthritis management, and chronic pain syndromes. Your approach will not only involve addressing physical symptoms but also empowering patients with knowledge and strategies for self-management.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits
