Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with functional limitations and develop tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide consultations to other healthcare professionals regarding patient care progress and enhance the continuum of care.
• Implement effective treatment strategies, monitor patient progress, and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Document all evaluations, treatments provided, and patient interactions accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nursing staff, and support personnel, to create a holistic treatment approach.
• Engage in community outreach and development programs that enhance public understanding of physical therapy services and promote health education.
• Supervise and mentor support staff and students, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Maintain active communication with patients and their families throughout treatment, involving them in the discharge planning process.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
