Key Responsibilities\n

In your capacity as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will undertake various responsibilities, including:

• Group Therapy: Facilitate weekly group therapy sessions designed to encourage camaraderie among clients, allowing them to express their feelings and learn coping skills through shared experiences.

• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling sessions, focusing on individual client needs. You will engage clients in discussions around their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, applying tailored interventions that promote self-discovery and recovery.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to assess their specific challenges and formulate individualized treatment plans, ensuring goals are both realistic and achievable.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly evaluate client progress, utilizing assessment tools and feedback methods to adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves young adults aged 18 to 30 within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Clients often present with a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related challenges. Your work will transcend traditional therapy paradigms, as you aim to ignite hope and foster healing by assisting clients in overcoming personal obstacles and achieving their aspirations.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the passion for helping young adults build healthy lives.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have:

Compensation and Benefits\n
