Senior Director, Associate Compensation & Benefits Tax Counsel

Johnson & Johnson seeks an experienced Associate Compensation & Benefits Tax Counsel in New Brunswick, New Jersey to provide technical tax and legal guidance on the design and administration of global employee compensation and benefit plans, ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical tax and legal advice to management on worldwide employee compensation and benefit plan design and administration
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing employee compensation and benefits
- Advise on qualified retirement plans, stock-based compensation, welfare benefits, and executive compensation matters
- Guide on payroll withholding, reporting, and global compensation issues
- Support management on compensation and benefits aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from accredited law school
- Active state or District of Columbia bar admission
- Minimum 10 years experience advising on compensation and benefits tax matters
- Deep knowledge of Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, and related compensation regulations
- Experience with M&A and divestiture compensation and benefits issues
- Experience advising on plan asset investment matters
- Strong business partnering and ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-specialist management
