Experienced, detail-oriented Xactimate Billing Specialist to join our restoration team. Duties include invoicing and the insurance approval process for our restoration division, which specializes in salvaging and restoring textiles, electronics, and household goods after fire, smoke, and water disasters. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using Xactimate software to accurately translate pack-out inventories, cleaning logs, and restoration scopes into comprehensive, audit-ready insurance estimates and invoices. Utilize Xactimate to build, format, and finalize accurate bills for textile, electronics, and contents restoration jobs based on technician field notes and pack-out inventories. Identify missing line items, draft restoration supplements, and submit variations to insurance companies to maximize legitimate job profitability. Audit inventory lists against the physical work performed to eliminate billing discrepancies. Track the status of open claims, follow up on delayed insurance approvals, and assist in securing timely payouts. Ensure all estimates and documentation comply with specific Third-Party (TPA) programs and guidelines.
Responsibilities

- Track and follow up on open insurance claims
- Ensure compliance with Third-Party Administrator (TPA) guidelines
- Enter billing and restoration data accurately
- Coordinate timely payment follow-ups with insurance companies
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in billing and invoicing
