Join Hungryroot as a Senior Manager of Accounting & Reporting, where you will play a crucial role in preparing audit-ready technical memos and analyses in compliance with FASB and SEC requirements. You will support the evolution of our reporting function, ensuring accurate GAAP-based results, and act as the primary contact for external audits while enhancing the accuracy of financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare audit- and external-ready technical memos and analyses.
- Support the reporting function to deliver accurate GAAP-based results.
- Serve as the primary contact for external audits and financial statement preparation.
- Lead reviews of controllership processes to enhance accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize AI tools to provide insights into financial performance.
- Manage technical areas of the close cycle including equity compensation and revenue recognition.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- CPA certification is required.
- 6+ years of experience in external audit, financial reporting, and technical accounting.
- Deep knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 842, and ASC 350-40.
- Proficient in NetSuite and advanced Excel.
- Experience in e-commerce, CPG, or DTC industries preferred.
