Accounting ManagerThe Accounting Manager will be responsible for the daily accounting operations for a cluster of Select Service hotels, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role manages key accounting functions including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budgeting, and internal controls while supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity across the Select Service division.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting.Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), local, state, and federal financial regulations, and company policies.Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and addressing inquiries.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.Provide financial insights and analysis to senior management and department heads to support strategic decision-making and business objectives.Partner with other departments (Operations, Sales, Revenue, HR, etc.) to ensure financial data supports profitability goals.Monitor cash flow, manage billing and collections, and oversee payroll processing.Demonstrate a team-focused attitude, humility, and collaboration across departments to uphold the service culture and financial excellence.Comply with all policies as outlined in the Handbook, Property Supplement, or otherwise issued including time and attendance expectations, uniform and dress code standards, anti-harassment policy, and substances in the workplace.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent years of experience.5+ years of progressive accounting experience.Superior user capabilities in computer software products including Acumatica, ProfitSword, with PMS/POS experience.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, financial regulations, and internal controls.Experience in hospitality/shared services accounting is a strong plus.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Demonstrates natural leadership qualities with a positive, detail-oriented, and team-oriented attitude.Expresses sincere enthusiasm for the role and passion for hospitality finance.Must know how to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion.
