Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate sheet steel laser cutters and press brakes. The role involves writing and interpreting CNC programs as needed, setting up and changing over equipment tooling and dies, and inspecting parts with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, protractors, and squares.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sheet steel laser cutters and press brakes.
• Write and interpret CNC programs as needed.
• Perform setup and changeover of equipment tooling and dies.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, protractors, and squares.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC brake press setups and programming.
• Ability to use tape measures and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in programming and precision measuring.
• Experience as a laser operator and press brake operator.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of precision measuring tools.
• Ability to write and interpret CNC programs.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a large shop sectioned by departments. It is not climate controlled but is manageable with fans and heaters. Openings on 2nd and 3rd Shift, but must Train on 1st for 90 days.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

The pay range for this position is $30.05 - $30.30/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Louis,MO.
