Role: Sr. Principal Avionics Lead in the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department, responsible for electrical systems engineering across products. What You Will Do Execute technical, cost, and schedule responsibilities for electronics systems. Ensure technical integrity of electronics, including development of Technical Data Package (TDP) and integration with Test Equipment (TE). Manage costs, schedule, and technical risk for design, verification, and hardware procurement. Provide technical oversight of failure investigations and root‑cause analysis. Guide a cross‑functional team through all phases of the hardware systems lifecycle—design, analysis, requirement development, testing, and production transition. Conduct peer reviews, present to management and government customers, and collaborate with Functional and Program management. Work with customers and suppliers and may require occasional travel. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in STEM; 10+ years of relevant experience. Experience in subassembly design, integration, and production support; analog, digital, and power electronics design. Capability to deconvolve high‑level requirements into actionable subsystem architectures. Background in electrical subsystems, systems engineering, requirement development and validation, CCA design, test integration, and supplier management for effector‑based products. Prior technical leadership on complex subsystems during Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) phases. Advanced degree in mathematics, physics, or related engineering disciplines is valued. Strong systems engineering thinking, analytical skills, and ability to perform multidisciplinary work. Experience leading large, complex trade studies and integrating conceptual designs into system‑of‑systems. Background in mixed‑signal electronics, Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk/opportunity management. Experience working with missiles or similar systems. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence across departments. What We Offer Salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD. Relocation assistance.
