Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the diverse needs of clients.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Assess clients’ needs, situations, strengths, and support networks; collaboratively establish achievable goals to guide therapeutic efforts.

• Assist clients in navigating significant life changes, such as illness, divorce, or unemployment, aiming to enhance their coping strategies and resilience.

• Research, refer, and advocate for relevant community resources such as food assistance programs, childcare services, and healthcare options that can bolster a client’s well-being.

• Implement evidence-based practices and interventions, particularly those beneficial for children and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals dealing with complex challenges related to substance abuse and mental health disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and your role will be central in helping them address personal crises, manage symptoms, and cultivate healthier relationships. Your expertise in relational dynamics will play a crucial role in their journey toward recovery and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.

• Must possess a valid California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, free from suspension or probation.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in providing mental health services is essential.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
