Title
Registered Nurse - Infusion Therapy

Schedule
Days, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
4x10 schedule (4 shifts/week)

Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Requirements
- Valid RN license in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification
- ONS/OCN (chemotherapy certification)
- Outpatient infusion/chemo RN experience (3 years required)
- Experience handling body fluids, isolation precautions, and radiation safety awareness
- Proficiency in infusion/chemotherapy administration and monitoring
- IV start/maintenance and infusion pump management skills
- Ability to recognize and communicate abnormal lab results
- Charting system: EPIC experience (required)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusions to patients safely and effectively.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage symptoms during treatment.
- Provide education to patients and their families about treatment protocols and side effects.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols related to chemotherapy and infusion therapy.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Ohio fingerprinting must be completed ASAP after signing contract; out-of-state candidates may need to drive to Ohio for fingerprints or complete a mailed packet urgently.
- Two professional references required; at least one must be a manager/director.
- Return-to-office requirement must be included with submission and built into the contract.
