Vice President Asset Management

A growing healthcare real estate investment platform is seeking a Vice President of Asset Management to take ownership of asset performance across a portfolio of medical office and healthcare properties. The firm has just raised USD $~500M of equity into their MOB platform which is spurring tremendous growth and necessitates this hire to augment the existing team.

This is a hands-on role focused primarily on leasing, operations, budgeting, CapEx, tenant relationships, and execution, with additional involvement in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, investor reporting, and portfolio strategy. As the platform grows, the role is expected to expand significantly, with the potential to oversee 20+ healthcare assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business plans and financial performance for a portfolio of healthcare real estate assets.
• Manage leasing activity from LOI through execution.
• Oversee property operations, budgets, capital plans, and CapEx programs.
• Partner with property management, leasing, acquisitions, underwriting, and senior leadership teams.
• Prepare asset reporting, business-plan updates, and portfolio reviews.
• Support acquisitions, dispositions, due diligence, financings, and refinancing activity.
• Contribute to investor reporting and broader platform initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve NOI, occupancy, tenant retention, and long-term value.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of asset management, leasing, operations, and investment experience, including:

• Institutional real estate asset management experience.
• Meaningful leasing experience, including LOI-to-execution transactions.
• Strong knowledge of property operations, budgeting, and CapEx.
• Financial and analytical capabilities, including asset-level underwriting and cash-flow analysis.
• Exposure to acquisitions, dispositions, debt financings, and lenders.
• Strong communication skills and a highly responsive, execution-oriented approach.
• Ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial private equity environment.

Medical office or healthcare real estate experience is preferred but not required.
