Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine the individual needs and goals of each client.

• Develop, implement, and continuously assess personalized recovery-based treatment plans, adapting as necessary based on client progress.

• Guide clients in enhancing their coping, problem-solving, and communication skills through evidence-based methodologies.

• Actively facilitate the development and execution of individual service plans that promote positive behavioral changes.

• Educate clients about available community services, advocating for their access to resources to enhance overall well-being.

• Monitor client symptoms effectively while developing strategies for symptom management.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals aged 18 and older who may experience challenges in maintaining stability and independence due to mental health issues. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will collaborate with clients to advance their personal growth and foster a supportive community around them.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or similar credential.

• Ability to practice independently without supervision.

• Clear disciplinary record and strong clinical ethics.
