Description What You Will Be Engaged In

• Carry out routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols to ensure accuracy.
• Assess results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Contribute to specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as required.
• Accurately document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or students, and uphold rigorous lab quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace and adhere to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, plus ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your career with us.
