Work Environment

You will work in an onsite home care setting, alongside a robust team of healthcare professionals who share a mutual goal of enhancing patient health outcomes. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life structure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations to formulate comprehensive treatment plans that reflect their unique needs.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including hands-on manual therapy, functional exercises, and modalities aimed at pain relief and mobility enhancement.
• Educate patients about their conditions, helping them to understand treatment protocols and encouraging adherence to home exercise programs.
• Document treatment progress accurately using CureMD EMR to track patient outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to provide comprehensive care, ensuring that treatment plans are consistently aligned across different specialties.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult patients, aged 40-65, who present with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation needs. This age group often includes individuals recovering from surgery, chronic pain patients, and those seeking to enhance their functional mobility and quality of life. Your skilled interventions will significantly impact their journey towards recovery and rehabilitation, fostering improved health and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, valid New Jersey PT license or eligibility for licensing.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical evidence and patient preferences.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and educate patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits
