Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy to adult patients, particularly focusing on those aged 40-65.
• Assess patients' needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring optimal function and mobility.
• Utilize a variety of techniques including hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain open communication and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical doctors (MDs), occupational therapists (OTs), chiropractors (DCs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs) to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, CureMD, ensuring compliance with both organizational and legal standards.
• Participate in regular case discussions and staff meetings to contribute insights on patient care and support continuous improvement initiatives within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on adult patients, particularly those recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain. Your expertise will play a crucial role in devising individualized rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing patient mobility, restoring strength, and improving overall functionality. By focusing on their unique needs, you will help them achieve their rehabilitation goals while fostering independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active or eligible New Jersey physical therapy license is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Demonstrated clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, and the execution of tailored treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in physical therapy is preferred, particularly within an outpatient or home care environment.
• Experience working with the adult population in orthopedic rehabilitation is a plus but not strictly required.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly CureMD, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
