Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite, primarily in patients' homes as part of our home care facility operations. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to clients, focusing on orthopedic conditions.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities designed to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous records using CureMD Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to document patients' treatment histories and progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nurse practitioners, to enhance patient care and ensure a holistic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients aged 40-65, many of whom are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Understanding their unique challenges and needs will enable you to provide effective care that not only improves mobility and function but also enhances their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher relevant qualification.
• Valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Proficient in supporting patients with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of physical ability.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of orthopedic conditions, treatment methodologies, and patient education strategies.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly CureMD, is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000.
