This role is designed to be performed in a remote work setting, allowing you to support clients from the comfort of your own home while adhering to the organization’s standards for virtual therapy. While the majority of your work will involve online consultations, you may also participate in essential collaboration meetings and training sessions at our outpatient office. We emphasize flexibility in this position, providing regular business hours with occasional evenings as required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate patients’ mental health needs and formulate personalized treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Deliver high-quality individual counseling and crisis intervention services, addressing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops, directed at enhancing patients' coping skills and promoting personal development.

• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and support staff, enhancing the coordination of care for our patients.

• Lead outreach initiatives to raise mental health awareness in the community, actively participating in events that promote wellness and preventive care.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans, maintaining confidentiality in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse group of clients, including adults, children, and families experiencing mental health issues. You will work with individuals from various backgrounds, each with their unique experiences and challenges. Your ability to tailor your approach and engage empathetically will be vital in facilitating their journey towards improved mental health and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; however, candidates with a Master’s or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Demonstrated understanding of the mental health issues commonly seen in outpatient settings, coupled with a commitment to patient-centered care.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and brief intervention strategies suitable for an outpatient counseling environment.

• Proficiency in managing a diverse caseload and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy work setting.
