Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status, utilizing standardized evaluation tools and clinical interviews to gather comprehensive histories.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each client, integrating evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing a variety of modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, helping them develop coping strategies and life skills.

• Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as necessary, ensuring a responsive approach to their evolving needs.

• Collaborate with external healthcare providers when necessary, offering referrals for adjunctive care such as medication management or specialized programs.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and training sessions to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse range of clients who may be facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience providing therapeutic services, particularly in an outpatient or community settings.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and the ability to implement culturally competent therapeutic strategies.

• Expertise in individual and group therapy modalities, with a focus on creating a safe, supportive therapeutic environment.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with a proven ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a knack for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications for effective documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
