The HRIS Analyst provides support, maintenance, and configuration of Workday and other HRIS systems, serving as a technical point‑of‑contact for assigned functional areas. Responsibilities Execute system administration functions including dashboard and report management, permission management, and configuration modifications. Provide general end‑user support, maintain and update user documentation, and perform routine data validation and reconciliation between systems to ensure accuracy and integrity. Use knowledge of business processes and system functionality to identify ways to customize and enhance current business applications and operating systems to meet functional needs and improve business processes. Work with HR and business subject‑matter experts to identify potential configuration enhancements and system modifications that maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Maintain awareness of current trends in HR systems administration with a focus on best practices in product and application support and data delivery. Review and evaluate new system releases and enhancements, recommend and implement approved new functionality. Provide design expertise, analysis, testing, and implementation support. Perform root cause analysis for system issues that do not operate as designed. Provide input for prioritization of business‑related activities and initiatives. Participate in discussions on future use of technology and business process improvements. Provide subject‑matter expertise regarding how HR data and systems support other departments and ensure data integrity and security protocols are maintained through integrations. May provide overall project management for assigned HR initiatives. Specific Workday areas of focus: Core HR, Benefits, Time, Absence, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Performance Enablement, VNDLY, Peakon, Integrations, and Security. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 3+ years of combined experience in HR and technology, including 2+ years utilizing Workday to enhance HR processes. Strong knowledge of key HR functions (benefits, payroll, personnel administration). Substantial knowledge of HR, HR systems, and their integration with technology. Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, configure, implement, and support HR data, processes, and technology. Ability to facilitate and lead discussions in mixed technical and business team environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize information for all business leadership levels. Knowledge of Workday configuration and business processes in Core HR, Benefits, and Integrations, with support for additional areas (Time Tracking, Absence, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Performance Enablement, VNDLY, Peakon, People Analytics, Security). Experience with Workday report building and data analysis (calculated fields, custom reports). Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues and data discrepancies. Experience in HRIS system implementation, testing, and upgrades. Legal U.S. work authorization. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science or human resources. One or more Workday Pro certifications (preferred: HCM Core, Benefits, Integrations). Experience with VNDLY as an end‑user or technical support for system configuration and maintenance. Understanding of HRIS integrations and API workflows. Experience supporting a global HR team and processes. Project Management experience. Knowledge of SDLC and Project Management methodologies. Experience with data security best practices, including user permissions and data privacy standards. Superior knowledge of MS Excel, MS Project, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience in eliciting and formally managing requirements for Data/Reporting projects. Compensation Range The anticipated base pay range is $83,651–$122,687 per year, adjusted for geographic location, education, skills, and experience. The position also includes eligibility for the discretionary annual incentive plan.
