Senior Property Accountant

We are working with the CFO of a Real Estate Investment Firm based in Middlesex County, NJ. They are looking to add a dynamic Senior Property Accountant to their organization and focus on Residential property management. This company offers a competitive salary w/ benefits including a hybrid work schedule!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential properties.
- Prepare property-level financial statements and reports.
- Lead the transition of residential property accounting from third-party accounting and property management firms
- Lead Yardi implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization efforts.
- Perform financial transition tasks in connection with property acquisitions; book property acquisitions, based upon review of closing documents
- Preparation of annual operating expense and real estate tax reimbursement reconciliations
- Preparation of cash reforecasts and cash flow projections, as necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
- 4+ years of Residential Real Estate Property Accounting
- Exposure to Yardi
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
COMPENSATION:
$120,000 - $140,000 + Bonus
