Contracts AdministratorWe are working with an established company in the architecture, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join its legal department in Springfield, Massachusetts.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in contract administration, legal operations, or paralegal work who enjoys taking ownership of processes and working closely with internal business teams, vendors, subcontractors, and insurance professionals.The Contracts Administrator will support the full contract lifecycle, from review and negotiation through execution and ongoing administration, while also assisting with insurance documentation and contractual risk management.Key Responsibilities:Contract AdministrationSupport the full contract lifecycle, including coordinating and tracking contract reviews and negotiationsPrepare and administer agreements with owners, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, as well as NDAs and amendmentsCoordinate approvals, signatures, and contract executionMaintain contract databases, files, templates, and related documentationHelp ensure compliance with internal contracting policies and proceduresRespond to contract-related questions from project teamsAssist with audits, compliance reviews, reporting, and process improvementsInsurance & Risk Management SupportRequest, review, and track certificates of insurance (COIs) to ensure contractual requirements are satisfiedCoordinate with insurance brokers regarding coverage, limits, endorsements, and expiration datesWork with vendors and subcontractors to resolve missing or noncompliant insurance documentationMaintain insurance tracking systems and documentationSupport vendor pre-qualification and contract and insurance complianceMaintain legal and risk-management resources on the department's SharePoint siteIdeal CandidateAt least 3 years of experience in contract administration, legal operations, or a related roleAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experienceStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookFamiliarity with AI toolsSound judgment, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential informationPreferred, but not requiredExperience within the construction, architecture, engineering, or professional services industriesParalegal experience and/or a paralegal certificateExperience reviewing and tracking COIs or familiarity with commercial insurance, including general liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability coverageCompensation & BenefitsThe anticipated salary range is $75,000–$95,000, with final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, an open vacation policy, bonus opportunities, profit sharing, and retirement benefits.To be considered, please provide a resume.
