Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Hospital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as requested, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
