Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental factors impacting students' academic performance and well-being.

• Provide individualized counseling and therapeutic support to children and their families, focusing on issues such as adjustment challenges, grief, anxiety, and depression.

• Work in partnership with the rehabilitation team to create personalized treatment plans that consider each student’s unique psychosocial needs.

• Assist students and families in accessing community resources, such as support groups, behavioral health services, and educational assistance programs.

• Facilitate educational workshops and seminars for parents and educators to promote awareness of mental health issues and available support systems.

• Engage in discharge planning and support transitions for students leaving our services, ensuring they have appropriate resources for ongoing care.

The focus of this role is on a diverse population of students experiencing various social and emotional challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
