Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' unique backgrounds, challenges, and treatment goals.

• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs, adjusting as indicated by therapeutic progress.

• Facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and family systems therapy.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in line with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate documentation of therapeutic sessions and client progress.

• Collaborate with other health professionals within the clinic to coordinate comprehensive care and support services for clients.

• Actively seek out and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with industry best practices and emerging therapeutic modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will center around a diverse group of clients facing a range of challenges including, but not limited to, relationship issues, grief, trauma, addiction, and mental health disorders. You will also have the opportunity to engage with families navigating systemic issues and to support children and adolescents in therapeutic settings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is required.

• An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Maryland is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
