Entry Level - Machinist 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who is proficient in loading parts, performing tool maintenance, and conducting final inspections of parts. This role does not require editing or programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and monitor computer-controlled turning or milling centers to produce high-tolerance OEM components.

• Load raw materials and execute machining cycles.

• Inspect finished parts using precision tools.

• Perform routine machine maintenance.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CNC operations.

• Experience with vertical lathes.

• Ability to use micrometers and calipers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Machining Trade School or Technical Certification is a plus.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in a job shop environment.

Work Environment

Work in a job shop environment with a casual dress code, allowing jeans or work pants and t-shirts. Steel toe boots are required for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
