Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect cultural diversity and accommodate special needs.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver outpatient therapy, continuously monitoring clients’ progress and adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize mental health outcomes.

• Prepare, maintain, and submit accurate treatment records and clinical documentation promptly, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and internal procedures.

• Collaborate with clients, their families, and other care providers to create an inclusive and effective plan of care, prioritizing shared goals and desired outcomes.

• Anticipate patient safety concerns and implement proactive strategies for symptom reduction while working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Coordinate referrals to appropriate therapeutic options and serve as a vital link between patients and various treatment providers to enhance continuity of care.

• Engage in educational initiatives, providing mentoring and guidance for social work students, interns, and volunteers within the organization.

• Support the professional development of team members through peer reviews, clinical collaborations, and participation in quality assurance activities, under the guidance of your clinical supervisor.

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families coping with the psychological impacts of cancer. You will support clients experiencing a range of emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, and grief, equipping them with coping strategies tailored to their unique situations. Your interventions will not only target mental health issues but also contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of patients during their challenging journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada is required.

• Minimum of two years of experience in mental health, preferably working with oncology patients.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years is the minimum requirement, candidates with extensive experience in the specialty areas of cancer care or palliative care will be viewed favorably. Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
