Key Responsibilities & Duties Scan paper-based materials using an overhead scanner to create digital records. Answer basic genealogical questions from the public with accuracy and professionalism. Respond to inquiries regarding historical information about the organization. Maintain organized and accessible archival systems for historical documents. Collaborate with team members to ensure continuity in archival processes. Assist in the preparation and preservation of historical artifacts and records. Follow established protocols for handling and scanning sensitive materials. Provide excellent customer service to individuals seeking historical or genealogical information. Job Requirements Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree or current enrollment in a library science program. Experience in archival work or related fields is highly desirable. Proficiency in using scanning equipment and handling digital files. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining records. Ability to answer genealogical and historical queries effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with the public and team members.
