About the Position

We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to provide part-time emergency medicine coverage at in Pennsylvania. This is an ongoing need with an expected commitment of 6–12 shifts per month. The provider will also provide coverage at another location.

Overview:

• Shifts needed: Monday-Sunday | 7a-7p; 12p-12a; 7p-7a
• Part-time, approximately 6–12 shifts/month
• Must be willing to work night shifts
• Providers see a wide range of ED cases with a focus on lower-acuity patients
• Perform minor procedures such as I&Ds and laceration repairs
• Assist in administrative tasks such as radiology and blood work reviews as needed
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements:

• Must have an active Pennsylvania license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA or Red Cross), Stroke Certified; ATLS not required
• NIHSS & Stroke CME must remain current
