Architectural Project Coordinator

Project CoordinatorThe Project Coordinator will lead the technical design of senior living projects from schematic design through construction to maintain standards of excellence. Technical design responsibilities include drawing documentation, specifications, consultant coordination and construction administration including shop drawings, submittals and contractor coordination / direction as required.Qualifications & ResponsibilitiesBachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent in education or experience.3-7 years of experience in architectural practiceSenior Living, Multifamily and/or Hospitality project experience preferredArchitectural registration desired or on path to licensure.Proficient in Revit (must have experience putting together full sets of CD's using Revit)Able to train and mentor younger staff.Capable of coordinating with consultants and communicating with clients.Ability to lead client meetings.This person will support a Project Manager but will be responsible to lead and manage portions of a project all by themselves.Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, and meet deadlines.Performs project due diligence, preparing applicable code analysis related to projectsUnderstands how a set of construction documents is put togetherDetail oriented with a commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity of informationCan work well with all levels of teammatesDesire to mentor and teach emerging professionalsComputer software knowledge, skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft programs is a mustManages time to meet project deadlines and budgetsContributes to the permitting & bid processes.Ability to travel to project sitesMust have architecture experience with projects in the USA.Must be a US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or current Employment Authorization Document Holder with NO visa sponsorships required now or in the future.
