Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations through thorough interviews to understand client needs and document findings accurately.
\n
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that encompass therapeutic goals for individual, couple, family, or group therapy.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a safe space for clients to share and grow.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, leveraging evidence-based practices.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers to coordinate care effectively.

• Provide timely follow-ups with clients and maintain communication with other care providers involved in their treatment.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and proactively address them to support clients’ mental health journeys.

• Counsel family members and caregivers, equipping them with tools to assist in managing mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse, including children, adolescents, adults, and families grappling with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proven experience working as a mental health counselor is required.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, specifically in navigating platforms like AVATAR.

• A solid understanding of the impact of both physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of the best practices as recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with exceptional empathetic listening abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of clinical experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and cognitive-behavioral therapy modalities.

• Experience in working with diverse populations and addressing a wide array of mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
