We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time temporary contract in New Lenox, Illinois . This opportunity is ideal for an RN with acute wound care experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Position Details:

Job Type: Temporary / Full-Time Contract.
Location: New Lenox, IL.
Schedule: Monday–Friday.
Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Weekend Requirement: None.
On-Call: None.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized wound care treatment plans.
Deliver specialized nursing care for patients with acute and complex wounds.
Execute physician orders accurately and within established timeframes.
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, infection prevention practices, and patient safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License .
Minimum 2 years of acute wound care nursing experience .
Experience using Cerner EMR .
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations are required for this assignment.
