Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify clients' unique needs.

• Providing individualized one-on-one counseling, strategically addressing issues such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Facilitating virtual group therapy sessions tailored to specific concerns, engaging participants in supportive discussions and psychoeducational workshops.

• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans that outline attainable goals and therapeutic interventions, actively engaging clients in their recovery process.

• Responding to crisis situations with urgency, which may involve conducting risk assessments and collaborating with emergency services or other healthcare professionals when necessary.

• Continuing education through training opportunities to stay current with mental health trends and treatment methodologies.

• Building collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary teams, which include psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client base will include adults and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. You will work with individuals navigating difficulties linked to stress, relationships, trauma, and life transitions. This role requires not only clinical skills but also a empathetic approach to understand and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences, ensuring that each individual feels heard and supported.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, you must hold:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, including the completion of necessary state requirements such as supervised clinical hours.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in delivering mental health counseling, ideally in a telehealth setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
