Lead Software Engineer, Data & Python

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in hybrid cloud architecture, along with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• We are looking for proven expertise in hybrid cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud.
• We need demonstrated experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools, including setting expectations for validating outputs for accuracy, performance, and security.
• We expect strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resiliency and security standards, with experience coaching engineers on compliant adoption.
• We require deep knowledge of distributed systems, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.
• We value experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
• We need excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• We look for demonstrated ability to partner with development leads and senior stakeholders.
• Preferred qualifications include strong coding ability in languages such as Java, Python, React, or similar.
• Preferred qualities include an action-oriented, decisive approach, sound risk awareness, a big-picture mindset, a can-do attitude, attention to detail, helpful mentorship, team development focus, and integrity.

• We design, architect, and implement scalable hybrid cloud solutions for transactional, analytics, and RAD workloads.
• We write and review high-quality code while maintaining best practices and engineering standards.
• We promote adoption of enterprise-approved AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational results.
• We apply software development lifecycle tools, including approved AI-enabled automation, to increase the value gained from automation.
• We collaborate with development leads and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• We conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to strengthen technical excellence.
• We present technical concepts and project progress to senior stakeholders.
• We prioritize work effectively, balancing urgent needs with long-term delivery.
• We mentor and support team members to foster a collaborative, supportive environment.
