Type: Night 4x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team. The successful candidate must possess the following certifications:

AHA BLS
NIHSS
ACLS

The position requires flexibility to float across five hospitals to similar or lower acuity units as needed (excluding the Emergency Department). Candidates must be available to work four weekend shifts in a four-week cycle and at least one holiday weekend.

Qualifications

2+ years of nursing experience in a relevant specialty
Charge experience preferred
Experience with patient ratios of 4:1
Required experience with the Epic charting system
Previous community hospital experience is essential
Travel experience is required
California RN license in hand at the time of application

Skills

The ideal candidate should have competencies in the following:

Aneurysms and repair
BiPAP/CPAP management
Blood product administration
Telemetry - remote monitoring
Cardiac telemetry
Seizure disorders
Wound care and management
High Flow Oxygen administration
Peripheral and PICC line care
Post-operative patient management

Unit Details

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics
Daily Census: Varies
Interdisciplinary Support: Includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more
Patient Diagnoses: Varies across Orthopedic, General, Urology, Telemetry, and Trauma
