Area Sales Director (Oncology) _EAST – Full Time

Position Summary

\n

\n

Reporting to the Vice President- Oncology and Hospital Sales, the SALES DIRECTOR-Oncology for Eastern Regions is responsible for supporting all activities for the sales team, and other tasks to assist at an executive level in sales analytics, presentations, business model and planning process.

\n

\n

Key Roles and Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Supports the VP, Sales in preparation for executive level presentations to include QBRs, board decks, and sales analytic reviews.
\n
• Leads the sales force customer model evolution to meet evolving portfolio needs
\n
• Leads the effort associated with the business customer model evolution to meet portfolio needs dictated by internal launches, competitive market events, and potential business development opportunities.
\n
• Proficient in field force analytics- for planning, targeting and aiding Key Account Directors in the account planning process.
\n
• Identifies trends, opportunities, and potential business concerns and is able to and takes ownership to solve problems.
\n
• 30%-50% travel is required
\n

Work Experience

\n

\n
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Pharma-Commercial, pre-launch launch and post launch of products.
\n

\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Extensive knowledge and experience in biologics, biosimilars, full life cycle of product launch and post launch.
\n
• Solid business acumen.
\n
• Team leadership experience.
\n
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and visual communication and presentation skills.
\n
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly by directing the team effectively.
\n

Education

\n
• Bachelor's Degree required is business or related field; advanced degrees, MBA, MS in business or related field is a plus.
