Director of Sales, East

Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Lead sales strategy, field execution, and distribution growth throughout the Eastern U.S.
\n
• Build and expand the company's East Coast infrastructure, including field sales, distributor partnerships, and future team development.
\n
• Manage regional chain accounts, independent retailers, and distributor relationships across the territory.
\n
• Drive DSD expansion initiatives, including developing new market partnerships and supporting future field team growth.
\n
• Execute strategic business plans to increase distribution, improve retail execution, and grow market share.
\n
• Partner with internal leadership to align promotional strategy, forecasting, supply chain planning, and commercial priorities.
\n
• Analyze business performance using syndicated data, sales reporting, and financial metrics to improve results.
\n
• Represent the company with key customers while building long-term retailer and distributor relationships.

What TRIP is looking for:

• 7+ years of beverage or CPG sales experience across multiple channels.
\n
• Previous leadership experience managing field sales organizations and distributor networks.
\n
• Strong regional chain, independent retail, and DSD management experience.
\n
• Comfortable building new markets and creating structure within a rapidly growing organization.
\n
• Experience managing P&Ls, forecasting, trade spend, and sales analytics.
\n
• Excellent relationship builder with strong communication and presentation skills.
\n
• Willing to travel extensively throughout the East Coast with regular presence in the New York market.
\n
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building businesses from the ground up.
