Assistant Director, C&S Programs

University Program Associate III – Office of the Provost Position Type: Exempt Professional Staff (EPS) Working Title: University Program Associate III Salary: $45,000 – $51,500 Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings and weekends Primary Responsibilities Financial: Budget and oversee funding for three community programs and seven Summer Intensives, as well as the C&SP office budget. Execute or supervise daily deposits exceeding $2 million annually, ensuring timeliness and accuracy, correct errors, and establish new revenue procedures. Oversee purchasing transactions, reporting, and reconciliation across p‑card and purchase order systems; manage collections of all fees. Program Management: Liaise with Summer Intensive program directors on budget and hiring; set up classes in the ASAP registration system; develop procedures for online registration and class scheduling; recommend software and procedural improvements. Communications, Marketing, and Customer Service: Maintain clear verbal and written communication; troubleshoot enrollment and registration issues; execute marketing initiatives, maintain mail and email lists, and assist with online marketing and social media. Community Programs Operations: Support enrollment, scheduling, and collections; act as registrar for community programs; provide on–campus support during events; establish office procedures and recommend improvements; oversee hiring of temporary staff and independent contractors. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; all degrees from accredited institutions. Preferred Qualifications Undergraduate degree, proficiency in standard office software, and minimum five years of experience in a public programs and/or arts-related role. Experience with UNCSA systems desirable. Arts background helpful. Application Information This is an Exempt Professional Staff (EPS) position.
